The instantaneous frequency corresponds, so the geometric position of the electron beam in the horizontal direction of the display screen has a corresponding relationship with the instantaneous frequency of the frequency sweep signal, that is, the horizontal scale of the frequency sweeper represents the frequency axis.

The amplitude-frequency characteristic of each of the scanned sawtooth network is displayed once. Since the scanning frequency is 50 Hz, the display will display 50 times per second, which will appear to the human eye as a continuous illumination curve.
